奥运英语口语
1.----我在猜想哪个国家会夺得最多的金牌。

I wonder which country will win most gold medals.
我在猜想哪个国家会夺得最多的金牌。

A I hope China does really well in the Olympics.
A 我希望中国会在奥运会中取得胜利。
B I’m sure it will.  The host nation always performs well. And there are so many good athletes in China.
B 我确定他们一定会的。主办国经常是非常出色的。同时他们有那么多优秀的运动员。
A I wonder how many gold medals China will win.
A 我在猜想他们会夺得多少金牌。
B Remember, silver and bronze are important too!
B 但是记住，银牌和铜牌一样重要！




你可以运用 I wonder . . . / 我猜想 . . .当你在想或者推测某件事时， 例如：
I wonder which country will win most gold medals / 我在猜想那个国家会夺得最多的金牌。

Notes　注释
1、To pick someone up, or collect them, to go somewhere else, you can say:
Shall I pick you up at the hotel? / Shall I pick you up at the hotel? (Remember you can also use will / will i tead of shall / shall, e.g. Will I pick you up at seven? / Will I pick you up at seven?)
要接某人去某地，你可以说：Shall I pick you up at the hotel? /我到饭店接你好吗？(记住你也可以用will / 将要来代替shall / 将要，例如, Will I pick you up at seven? / 我7点接你好吗?)
2、If you want to check that something is all right with somebody, e.g. a time for a meeting, a place for a meeting, a future plan

B: Hello, Lin. Yes, I've got a meeting this morning at eleven o'clock.
B: 你好，林。是的，我上午十一点将参加一个会议。
A: Ok, then. Perhaps I'll see you later. Bye.
A: 那么好。也许我过会再见你。再见。
B: Goodbye, Lin.
B: 再见，林。
A: Good morning!
A: 早上好!
B: Hello, Ping. How are you?

A: Busy! I'm meeting a friend at 12 in Starbucks.

Notes:
1. Are you busy today? You can ask someone this to find out what their plan are for today or to find out what they are doing. (你今天忙吗？) 你可以这样问某人今天的计划是什么或者某人正在做什么。

2. Again, another way of saying goodbye informally, especially if you know when you will see the person again, you can say：See you this evening. 另一种道再见的非正式说法是See you this evening (今晚见)。尤其当你知道何时还会与某人相见时使用这种说法。
