Responsibilities:

ü
Manage risk management consulting businesses in North Asia and South East Asia.

ü
Manage existing businesses and further developing them in these regions.

ü
Close liaison with other Risk teams elsewhere in Asia and Australia

ü
Ensure consistency, coordinate resource utilization

ü
Maximize business opportunities.

ü
Represent important parts of the Asia management team.

ü
Lead a team of 10-30 consultants

ü
Line management of staff, business development, delivery of risk consulting services and strategy development in support of the planned business growth.

ü
Offer services include safety/risk engineering, HSE management systems advice to all the industries we focus

Requirements

ü
A thorough understanding of risk engineering and HSE management systems in our target industries, gained via a minimum 10 years of relevant experience in either an industrial or consulting environment

ü
Oil/ gas/ chemical industry experience

ü
Familiarity with technical risk management techniques such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, fire engineering; SIL assessment and HSE management systems

ü
Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or science discipline

ü
Business development and staff management skills

ü
A track record of successful management of consulting teams would be highly regarded.
